OAI started as a simple Facebook page during secondary school. With no formal skills, just curiosity and ambition, I began experimenting with picture editing using mobile apps. The first "logos" were made on Logo Maker — raw, experimental, and full of energy.
Self-taught and relentless. I moved from static images to video editing using VivaVideo, creating short clips and slideshows. The branding became bolder — experimenting with typography, script fonts, and dark aesthetics. OAI Media's identity was taking shape.
The brand exploded with colour. Inspired by broadcast media aesthetics, I designed vivid logos using multiple colour palettes — testing what it means to build visual identity from scratch with no formal training. Each design was bolder than the last.
I launched the OAI Media YouTube channel (@oaimedia3582). The first video was a university democracy discussion with friends. Then came lyrics videos — my most notable project being Ed Sheeran's entire Equals album, every track visualised. Pure creative expression.
I pivoted to Canva for professional-grade flyer and logo design. The quality leap was immediate. I began taking on real client briefs — designing logos for local businesses like Fave's Liquid Soap and Musty Fresh. This was the moment OAI became a service, not just a hobby.
Partnering with Claude AI, I began learning web development from scratch. I noticed Nigerian small businesses advertising heavily on WhatsApp but completely invisible on the wider internet — missing thousands of potential customers. That gap became my mission. OAI Media became OAI Media Services. My first website was for RoyalTreatz.
Recognising that Nigerian businesses needed more than websites — they needed direction — I launched OAI Consulting. We create professional business plans grounded in real capital analysis, market research, and customer behaviour. Strategy designed for the Nigerian market.
