First logo ever made

The Beginning — A Facebook Page

OAI started as a simple Facebook page during secondary school. With no formal skills, just curiosity and ambition, the first "logos" were made on Logo Maker — raw, experimental, and full of energy. No plan yet, just a name and a page.

Learning the Craft

Self-taught and relentless — moving from static images to video editing with VivaVideo, creating short clips and slideshows. The branding got bolder: script fonts, dark aesthetics, an identity taking shape.

Going Colourful

The brand exploded with colour, inspired by broadcast media aesthetics — vivid logos across multiple palettes, testing what it means to build a visual identity from scratch with no formal training.

Started learning to code

The Digital Awakening — Learning to Code

Academy opens its doors

OAI Digital Skills Academy — Teaching What We Build

We opened the doors and started teaching. OAI Digital Skills Academy takes complete beginners and trains them in AI-powered web and graphic design — no coding background required. Cohorts run Saturday and Sunday sessions over WhatsApp, covering tools like Claude AI, Gemini, Canva AI and Kimi AI alongside a hands-on website builder track. What started as one founder's self-taught journey is now something we hand down.

Independent platform launched

OAI Legit Commentary — A Voice of Our Own

Building websites for other people's brands led naturally to building one for our own. OAI Legit Commentary launched as an independent platform covering Nigerian social, political, cultural and sporting stories — publishing on Substack and its own site, with newsletter delivery built in from day one. The goal is a simple one: to grow into one of Nigeria's leading commentary platforms.
